    Field Service Engineer (m|f|d) Balance of Plant Mechanical

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Australia. As a BoPm Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing balance of plant mechanical work scope, providing technical support, and ensuring project success.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare technical and site-specific documentation for Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and evaluate bids/offers.
    • Provide mobilization and demobilization, management of purchase orders.
    • Create and update site documentation such as lifting plans, installation instructions, erection protocols, etc.
    • Support the development of HSE & Quality plans with the responsible person.
    • Provide technical support to the site team and facilitate clarification with the engineering team.
    • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations.
    • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages.
    • Participate in short- and medium-term work planning (Four Week Look Ahead).
    • Review and support data quality (time booking, planned hours, progress) in our construction management software, Insite LMS.
    • Support the identification, reporting, and documentation of scope deviations (non-conformances, claims, and change orders), risks, and opportunities.
    • Monitor achievement of quality, schedule, costs, and corrective actions.
    • Conduct regular meetings for lessons learned, site status review, performance plan, etc.

    Your Profile:

    • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
    • Able to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
    • Previous demonstrated experience in supervision of BoPm installation in the field of large hydro power projects or in similar industries.
    • Construction and/or E&M experience is required.
    • Experience in the Australian market is desirable.
    • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
    • Sound knowledge of construction project management best practices.
    • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
    • Proactive mindset to anticipate challenges and provide problem-solving solutions.
    • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or equivalent.
    • SAP knowledge is desirable.
    • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.

    Site Conditions:

    • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
    • A typical work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
    • Camp accommodation is provided.
