    Comprising academic and professional staff, the Centre for Education and Innovation is an integral link between ACU's directorates, schools, and faculties, providing a centralised support service for all learning and teaching processes and resources. The Centre's key priority is to enable high-quality student learning experiences by providing services and strategic direction in relation to: - Learning experience design and learning technologies - Student engagement and success - Quality assurance and academic integrity - Academic skills development in students - Academic development, with emphasis on curriculum and professional learning.

    About the role:

    As the Academic Developer, Scholarship and Professional Learning, you'll promote and support scholarship of ACU staff involved in teaching and learning particularly in achieving Citations, Awards and Fellowships. You'll have the opportunity to continually improve and integrate professional learning opportunities for teaching and learning staff across the university.

    More specifically the role entails:

    • Providing guidance, feedback and support to ACU staff in applying for and achieving Citations, Awards and Fellowships.
    • Contributing to continuing development, mapping and badging of professional learning resources for ACU staff involved in teaching and learning.
    • Contributing to ACU scholarship of teaching projects that are focused on improving student learning. etc.
    • Working responsively across Faculties and Directorates to identify and develop professional learning resources to support excellence in teaching and learning.

    • Total remuneration valued to $168,512 - $182,954 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $142,625 - $154,969 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
    • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
    • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
