    Description

    Primary Objective:

    The primary role of the Deputy Commissioner is to support the Commissioner to discharge the statutory functions given under the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Act 2017.

    Reporting directly to the Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner will provide executive leadership in respect of ICAC operations, including investigations and prevention and education activities.

    The Deputy Commissioner will be responsible for exercising delegated powers to lead and oversee investigations, including making findings and preparing reports where required, determine the action to be taken in respect of reports received by the office, and contribute to education and prevention initiatives.

    While the Deputy Commissioner will support the Commissioner to discharge his regulatory obligations as the Chief Executive Officer of the Office of the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption, the role will primarily focus on supporting the discharge of statutory functions.
