The Role The APS 6 Drupal Developer plays a crucial role by providing expert technical guidance and support in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Drupal-based digital solutions.

The responsibilities Website Maintenance:

Ensure the smooth operation and performance of Drupal-based websites by conducting regular maintenance activities, such as bug fixes, security updates, and performance optimizations.

Identify and resolve technical issues and provide timely support to address user concerns and improve the user experience.

Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of Drupal solutions to verify their functionality, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and accessibility requirements, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, designers, and content creators, to gather requirements, provide technical advice, and contribute to the overall success of digital initiatives.

Act as a subject matter expert on Drupal-related matters and offer guidance to colleagues and junior developers when needed.

Research and Innovation:

Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Drupal and web development technologies, evaluating their potential application within the organization.

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes, proposing innovative solutions to address business needs effectively.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain accurate documentation of Drupal solutions, including technical specifications, code documentation, and user guides.

Contribute to the knowledge sharing culture by sharing best practices, conducting training sessions, and providing guidance to colleagues on Drupal development techniques and standards.

Drupal Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse user needs, develop technical specifications, and design and implement Drupal.
