Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited) to the following:
CORE FUNCTION
¿EnsuringthatOceaneering'sHSEManagementSystemandexpectationsarefullyimplementedwith Regional Operations and compliant with localregulations
¿Carrying out a range of NDT inspection techniques on components, pipework and structural assembliesetc., in order to establish acceptability tospecification
¿Carrying out the most effective NDT techniques to components requiringinspection
¿Ensuring that the work area is safe to carry out NDTactivities
¿Ensuring inspection is carried out within the parameters of the applicable specification andprocedures
¿Evaluating results of the test in accordance with applicable specification andprocedure
¿Producing clear and concise reports detailing the methods used in and results of theinspection
¿Ensuring any limitations of the inspection or deviations from the workscope are clearly documentedand communicated to the Client/Coordinator at the earliestopportunity
¿Carrying out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities whenthe situation requires
¿Ensuring that HSE policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as isreasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe workingenvironment
¿Performing the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems ofthe Company
General

¿Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems forthe Company;and
¿Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substancesand practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of theenvironment.

Qualifications and Training
¿Secondary education in English, Maths andScience
¿Relevant state RadiationLicence
¿Welding Inspection(desirable)
¿Coatings Inspection(desirable)
¿ISO 9712 Level II in thefollowing:
oUltrasonic Testing (UT) and
oRadiographic Testing (RT) and
oMagnetic Particle (MT) or Liquid Penetrant(PT)
¿Plus a minimum of two of thefollowing:
oEddy Current Testing(ECT)
oPhased Array Ultrasonic Testing(PAUT)
oTime of Flight Diffraction(TOFD)
¿TBOSIET
¿Maritime Security Identification Card(MSIC)
Experience
¿Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in operational environments as an NDTTechnician
¿Experience in all qualified testing methods
¿Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing and inspection technology used by the Company performingNDT
¿Experience in completing NDT worksheets andreports
Required Skills and Aptitudes
¿Advanced computerskills
¿Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry including related Legislation, Acts and Regulations, Industry Standards andCodes
¿Knowledge of NATA requirements
¿Familiar with QA/QC systems andprocedures
¿High level of written and verbal communication
¿Ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in worktasks/environment
¿Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concretevariables
¿Knowledge of safety standards (e.g. Step Back 5x5, JSEA, HSEQ systemsetc.)
