    Description

    The Role
    As a Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician , your role is to uphold our wet fire systems and equipment in good working order, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards. This is working on a Government Contract.

    This role is based in Sydney, NSW.

    Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.

  • Maintain and service all Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to Australian Standards
  • Conduct routine inspection, testing and servicing of Wet Fire Systems - Sprinklers, hydrants, hoses and pumps
  • Installation of Wet Fire Systems
  • Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
  • Liaise directly with the client regarding service work
  • Isolate Panels to conduct testing of the Wet Fire Systems

    • Skills & Experience

  • Cert III in Fire Protection (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience working with Wet Fire Systems
  • Understanding of Australian Standards and AS2118
  • Ability to Test, Repair and Install
  • Drivers Licence

    • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
