    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Your key accountabilities will be to:
  • Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
  • Design and develop teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of formats to suit varying learning styles
  • Identify and deliver appropriate teaching, learning and assessment strategies for a range of learner needs
  • Engage with employers and industry representatives to adapt teaching materials and content to meet industry and employer needs and are current
  • Contribute to business development activities such as tenders and submissions to support business growth and the Institute's fee for service goals
  • Work with learners to improve their employability and life skills
  • Ensure high-quality, up-to-date and relevant teaching delivery, assessment and student engagement strategies to support learner success and contribute to the achievement of Chisholm shared goals.
  • ABOUT YOU You will have the following essential tertiary qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications that meet RTO standards
  • Strong computer skills
  • Vocational qualifications at an AQF level equivalent to the highest level of teaching of the discipline or apprenticeship indentures equivalent to the highest level of teaching of the discipline
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies/associations as required for the discipline
  • Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience.
  • Crucial to your success will be your proven experience in planning programs, learning materials and teaching delivery plans in an adult learning environment. You will also possess well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools, in addition to a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learning. You are a highly motivated professional with a demonstrated ability to design and deliver succinct, up-to-date and engaging program materials and training sessions combined with a proven ability to identify potential and existing setbacks and challenges in a classroom environment and effectively resolve these.
