    Description

    Launch are working with an Insurance organisation to hire two experienced Domain Architects based in Sydney. There are two contract roles available running until the end of December 2024.

    Date Rate: $1200 – $1300 a day
    Location: Sydney

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Define and implement architecture strategies that align with the company's objectives.
    • Own the technology uplift vision for driving modernisation and digital transformation across the business
    • Create architectural roadmaps and deliver solutions aligning with the technology vision.
    • Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of digital technologies and platforms to support business innovation and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions.
    • Ensure architectural coherence and scalability across all digital initiatives, from conceptualization to deployment.
    • Advocate for and enforce best practices in digital security, data privacy, and compliance standards.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Domain Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful transformation projects in the Insurance industry.
    • Deep understanding of digital technologies and architectures, including cloud computing, APIs, microservices, and data analytics.
    • Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks.
    • Certifications in relevant technologies or architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
    • Deep understanding and experience in designing and delivering common and digital architecture patterns.
    • Deep understanding in DevSecOps process from build, test, scan, deploy, security.
    • Understanding the whole technology stack, including authentication, integration platforms, user interface, network, public cloud, internal data centre, DevSecOps and data analytics.
    • Experience designing a Domain Oriented Microservices Architecture (DOMA) / Domain Services.
