- Manage the team and partner aspects of Engineering Services Consulting delivery activities and relationships
- Build, manage and maintain a highly expert team of professional consultants (and contractors as needed) to be able to deliver services associated with the Riverbed product line.
- Support and contribute to the definition and building of Professional Service offerings (Service Engineering).
- Managing the onboarding, enablement and support to Riverbed Services Delivery Partners in the region.
- Providing management support to the VP, Professional Services as required.
- Identifying and enabling external delivery partners as needed to provide full geographical and subject matter coverage.
- Support the Sales teams with proposal validation and custom scoping as needed.
- Maximise efficient resourcing and utilisation of the consulting team.
- Control cost and outside spend as part of a Profit & Loss organisation to achieve margin objectives.
- Accurate and timely completion of activity logging, management reports, internal project progress and any other assigned administrative duties in the appropriate standardized process flow.
- Work closely with the Project Management Office on the delivery of projects.
- Represent Riverbed Global Engineering Services at Technical, Channel and Sales events as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for Riverbed for Global Engineering Services consulting matters for the APJ Region.
- Work as part of Riverbed's Global Engineering Services team to help globalize and standardize approaches, processes and material
- Canberra/ACT base location
- Hold security clearance – Level NV1 or higher (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar service delivery / project management, customer-facing role
- Experience working on Defence/Government projects
- Excellent speaking, business writing and presentation skills.
- Recognized ITSM certification (preferably ITIL v4 Foundation or above)
- Familiarity with common ITSM systems (. Service Now) an advantage
- Recognized Project Management certification (. PMP, Prince2)
- Ability to quickly understand enterprise network topologies and performance management concepts
- Familiarity with key network technologies & concepts, . WAN, LAN,TCP/IP, DHCP,DNS, SaaS and Cloud Computing
- Familiarity with Riverbed Alluvio Unified Observability Platform products (NetIM, NetProfiler, AppResponse, AppInternals, Aternity and Portal an advantage.

Position
Riverbed is looking for a government cleared Service Delivery Manager. Reporting directly into the VP, Professional Service, you will be a key contributor to the management team. You will be responsible for all aspect of Services Delivery for your assigned region/customers whilst managing a team of consultants that are responsible for delivering services across all Riverbed product lines. You will also work work closely with the dedicated Project Management Office to resource and deliver projects.
This role is expected to lead a team of consultants, as well as manage the team's culture and support the individual careers. In this capacity, they are chartered to work with each direct report on professional development at Riverbed, individual training plans, day-to-day responsibilities and achieving services related goals/metrics.
This role requires the successful candidate to be able to gain NV2 clearance (having this clearance already is desireable). This position is based in Canberra .
