Job Description

As a solution architect you will be an expert in cloud-based (AWS/Azure) technology, work directly with clients to identify the client's business objectives and develop cloud-based solutions to support them. You will participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure success when building new or migrating existing applications, software and services on the AWS/Azure platform.

You will design and manage cloud system structures for the client and also help transferring information and programs to new cloud systems and troubleshoot network issues. Acts as a subject-matter expert around AWS/Azure for other sales and solutions teams.

You will guide the work of System Engineers, Cloud Account Managers, Technical Consultants, and extended teams as these resources install, configure, test and maintain cloud services from AWS/Azure, operating systems, application software, management tools.

Qualifications

7+ years related information technology technical experience required
Professional experience architecting large scale solutions on AWS/Azure
Experience with common Automation pipelines tools & technology (Terraform, Octopus, Github, Jenkins, Ansible etc
You will be an expert in stakeholder management, translating business problems into technical solutions and working with large teams in complex environments.
Exceptional Consulting and Communication Skills
Ability to interpreting and present results to stakeholders at all levels
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to prioritise and control workload
Demonstrated collaboration skills and a successful track record in building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholder
