  • Our Opportunity
    As a Facility Manager, you will manage the maintenance and operation of building services within assets, ensuring that they are maintained in good repair, utilized in the most cost-effective manner, and serviced in accordance with statutory requirements, while maintaining the highest level of safety and customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring all functional and day-to-day requirements are delivered in accordance with Mirvac policy and procedures.

    This is a 12-month contract.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Approval of Work Orders, tax invoice processing, and contracts
  • Delivery of Operational Expenditure budget
  • Management of all contractors in accordance with Mirvac policies and procedures
  • Physical inspection of all plant and equipment to ensure operational readiness for building occupancy
  • Ensuring all areas of the property are presentable at all times
  • Responding to any information requests from the Portfolio Manager, Property Management, Senior Facility Management, or the asset services team
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all customers
  • Acknowledging any tenant requests reported through Infinity or via Email, planning the necessary corrective actions, and providing follow-up feedback to the customer
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, and sustainable way
  • Identifying and regularly reviewing property risks (and opportunities) and implementing strategies promptly to eliminate, mitigate, or minimize their impact
  • Ability to be on call 24/7, work on weekends, and attend to after-hours calls

    664 Collins Street represents the culminating phase of the Southern Cross Station complex. It encompasses 26,000 square meters of A-grade office space spread across nine levels. Paired with 699 Bourke Street, this development comprises two landmark towers emerging from the distinctive curves of the Southern Cross Station rooftop, centrally located in Melbourne's CBD.

    Your Point of Difference

    You are a property professional with at least 5 years' experience in all facets of facilities management, typically stemming from a solid administrative and/or technical background. You will have demonstrated experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities, as well as experience in negotiating and enforcing contracts.

    You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, good decision-making abilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders. A customer and guest-centric focus, along with a strong understanding of the local community and trade area, are essential. Additionally, you should possess the ability to prioritize effectively and demonstrate effective time management skills.

    Finally, you will be able to display a team approach and willingness to be flexible with duties and working hours.
