The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.

As our Clinical Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in supporting the Practice Manager to coordinate and manage the financial and operational aspects of the practice, with a strong focus on enhancing the patient experience and driving practice initiatives. You will exemplify 1300SMILES's values and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily management of the practice to ensure exceptional patient experiences at every touchpoint.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Create a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
• Maintain a clean and well-presented reception and front office area.
• Assist in the recruitment process and contribute to building a high-performing team.
• Facilitate the induction and onboarding of new employees, identifying training needs.
• Provide support, encouragement, and mentoring to team members.
• Act as a role model to your team members.
• Collaborate with the PM to drive practice growth, by assisting with local area marketing.
• Manage daily tasks such as recalls, confirmations, online bookings, and treatment follow-ups.
• Deliver exceptional patient care, with a focus on new and existing patients.
• Undertake practice administration activities and maintain high standards.
• Be flexible to work on reception or in surgery as needed to support practice operations.
• Participate in WH&S audits and implement recommended improvements within specified timelines.

• Previous experience in dental or healthcare administration preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.

• Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
