Stud Groom - Innisplain, Australia - Yard and Groom
Description
We are seeking a stud groom to join our team at Telemon Stud, QLD.
Telemon Stud is a 450acre thoroughbred farm situated in Innisplain, 1.20 hours from Brisbane and from the Gold Coast. We stand 4 Stallions at the stud and run with up to 250 horses on farm, foaling down approximately 70 mares through the breeding season. We offer the opportunity to learn in every area of thoroughbred breeding. Currently with our focus on yearling and weanling preparation for sales and the weaning/handling of foals.
On site accommodation is provided in a shared house - private bedroom with shared facilities, kitchen and bathroom.Duties include;
Whilst previous experience is preferable, a good work ethic and enthusiasm to learn is essential. Salary will be determined by experience.
