    About the role Grain Corp is currently seeking a General Manager of Procurement.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Innovation & Growth Officer, a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this pivotal role entails developing and implementing a strategic procurement plan and operating model.

    The objective is to drive cost-effective procurement practices, optimizing spending, and achieving significant cost reductions.

    The company started out in Australia in 2013, and since has been expanding to selling its products in the US, Canada, UK, many EU countries, Israel, UAE, New Zealand and more.

    We are seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Bondi Junction, NSW

    • Position Title:

    Logistics Manager- Employer: 2 B1 K Imports Pty Ltd- Salary (not including superannuation): 85,000 AUD- Position location: Bondi Junction, NSW 2022- Hours per week: 40 The position will be responsible for our supply chain and distribution processes under the ECOHEADS brand, from start to finish, as well as other company logistics requirements.

    Reporting directly to the CEO, the Logistics Manager will: Supply/Stock Management· Forecast required stock quantities for the ECOHEADS brand based on company sales goals.· Liaise with other departments regarding current & expected supply levels, in correlation with sales and marketing teams.· Manage the company's Warehousing & Manufacturing System (WMS).· Monitor required stock levels of all ECOHEADS products.· Track all movements of parts & finished goods.· Ensure re-ordering at required times of parts & finished goods.· Maintain correct documentation and records keeping of the company's purchasing activities.


    Distribution/Shipments Management:

    • Liaise, negotiate quotes and oversee shipments with ECOHEADS' forwarding agents.
    • Engage with suppliers regarding incoming/outgoing stock shipments, including required forms, customs releases etc.
    • Keep records of all quotes & shipments and accompanied documentation:o between different company locations/warehouses,o from suppliers to company,o from company to distributors/clients.
    • Keep shipping & warehousing data records that is obligatory for relevant stakeholders, such as product measurements, product classification codes, barcodes etc.
    • Source, negotiate & manage relationships with part/assembly suppliers.
    • Purchase of raw materials.
    • Batch Sign-Offs.
    • Preparing & shipping goods to customers & approving all necessary documentation.

    Reporting and Staff Management· Manage two personnel in the company's branch in Korea.· Reporting weekly to Company Management and other intra-company stakeholders on logistics, supply chain and shipping matters· Business trips to Korea as required· Engage with the Product Manager regarding logistics requirements, such as barcoding products, creating PIFs (Product Information Files), sample shipping etc.

    The position will require the candidate to be/have:· Minimum bachelor's degree level qualification· At least 5 years of experience in managing international supply chains and logistics processes· Experience working with suppliers and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds, specifically in Asia· Experience managing remote staff· Excellent interpersonal skills· High level of MS Excel proficiency· Proficient user of Warehousing & Manufacturing Software (WMS)· Understanding of all relevant INCOTERMS and EDI requirements for counterparty transactions· Excellent time management skills· Dedication to meeting tight deadlines and customer expectations· Self-motivated problem solver, able to work independently as well as within a team· Superb numerical skills and memory· Superior spoken and written English· Candidates with second language proficiency will be highly valued: Korean, Italian or Hebrew Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Managing and overseeing sea freight (FCL / LCL), air freight, road freight shipments coordination.

    Improving, implementing, and directing standard operating procedures for the operation department, and supervising the operating's inputs into the monitoring system, such as cargo details, incoterms, bunker inventories, freight rates, origin and destination logistics charges, schedules, booking dates, transit time, terminal allocation, shipper and consignee details, shipping documents, etc.

    Transforming the operating procedures into digital workflows to creating data and robust operation reports.
    Directing the operation department staff tasks and overseeing their performance operating the shipments.
    Managing and coordinating the warehouse stock for dangerous goods repacking materials and client's storage inventories.
    Managing and controlling cargo drop-off, pick-ups, deliveries, and Airport / Port lodgements.
    Developing reports for the vehicle runs and warehouse workflow to sharing with the operation department.

    Supervising the electronic input of every shipping document, such as bill of lading, airway bill, road invoices, dangerous goods declarations, MO41, consignment security declarations, Commercial invoices, packing lists, import licenses, etc...Supervising the communication between the operation department, clients, suppliers, overseas agents, account and sales departments, and the branch offices.

    Liaising and negotiating contracts with suppliers, carriers, airlines, and overseas agents for more cost-effective results.

    Developing the best supply chain strategies for international and domestic consignments at minimum cost with service quality for dangerous goods.

    Monitoring the communication with clients to following up on their shipment requirements, attending to the demands at the best cost and service quality.

    Monitoring schedules and bookings with suppliers, airlines, and carriers.

    Controlling and implementing strategies to managing the storage and inventory system to meeting quality on shipments follow-up, stock levels control, and maintain the warehousing jobs at minimum cost.

    Supervising the handling, packing, labelling, and preparation of dangerous goods consignments as per DG regulation.
    Controlling the inspection of dangerous goods consignments to approving the Dangerous goods declarations for transportation as per regulation.

    Outlining the best supply chain solution for dangerous goods consignments by liaising with carriers, airlines, and consolidators to developing the best route options.

    Monitoring recording system to track import and export shipments, domestic consignments, inland pick-ups and deliveries, and warehouse jobs time frames.

    Working on the standard operating procedures for storage of dangerous goods as per regulation, controlling the bunkers inventories for explosives and radioactive consignments.

    EXPERIENCE /


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Graduation (required) / Post-Graduation (preferable) à Logistics / Business administration / International trade management Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / International trade management Dangerous goods specialist or at least 1 year of experience Full-time.


    English:
    Full professional proficiency NSW Security Clearance license holder for explosives (preferable)
