    About Us


    We are a growing commercial painting company in high demand by builders. Currently, we have a team of 25 employees and contractors. Our work involves the painting of schools, supermarkets, restaurants, office buildings, residential insurance jobs, and more.

    Requirements


    1. Applicants must have the following:
    2. Minimum 3 years commercial painting experience
    3. Minimum 2 years commercial painting project management experience
    4. Experience in managing a team of 20+ across multiple sites
    5. White Card
    6. Working with Children Check
    7. Elevated Work Platform and Working at Heights licence
    8. Ability to communicate fluently in English, Hindi/Urdu, Punjabi, and Telugu
    9. Australian driver's license and own car (sufficiently large to carry ladders, spray guns etc)
    10. Previous experience using CrewTraka and Trak job management software
    11. High proficiency in analyzing and forecasting budgets and profit and loss statements
    12. Willing to travel to regional jobs
    13. Willing to undertake occasional weekend and night works (overtime rates apply)

    Tasks & Responsibilities


    Management of commercial painting projects located in Melbourne and west thereof. Also regular regional jobs. Interpreting architectural plans and specifications relevant to painting works. Coordinating labor resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment. Liaising with builders and subcontractors involved in projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost, and safety. Overseeing the standard and performance of all staff. Preparing Safety Work Method Statements. Identify and obtain sign-off for variations to the scope of works. Provide training to staff, as required. Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces. Applying paints, varnishes, and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprays. Cleaning equipment and work areas.
