Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be an integral part of a team of financial professionals. Your role will involve providing top-tier financial management services including budgeting, proactively updating forecasts and providing financial insights to the business.

Key responsibilities include the following

• Financial and revenue services to internal stakeholders
• Budget preparation, forecasting, financial modelling
• Delivering management accounting services, preparing budgets and forecasts for research grants/contracts, generating reports
• Ensuring compliance with funding regulations
• Maintaining financial systems
• Organize financial acquittals for external funding bodies
• Support business decision-making through insightful analysis, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial management practices and procedures.

To be successful in acquiring this role you need the following skills and attributes:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications along with CPA or CA status
• Extensive management accounting experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant experience in technical and administrative fields
• In-depth understanding of financial management, policies, standards, and legislative requirements.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
