    Miller

    Join our team and get a new career as a Miller at our CopRice plant in Leongatha. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the mill on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the Production Coordinator. You will also operate a forklift and contribute to the safe and engaging culture of the site.

    We are seeking people looking for permanent work opportunities. The position is currently day work though shift work may be required in the future with appropriate notice.

    Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will work in supportive and professional workplace and be given training and coaching necessary to succeed.

    Candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in the workplace and maintain professional work ethics will be highly regarded.

    Some attributes that will be sought after during the recruitment process are:

  • Demonstrated safe work practices
  • Good knowledge of Milling and/or Manufacturing Operations
  • Competence in weighbridge operation, grain receivables and sampling
  • Understanding of HACCP
  • Chain of responsibility knowledge
  • Understanding of quality and Good Manufacturing Process requirements
  • Forklift License and experience to operate a forklift in a high-volume environment
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in flexible work environment
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Team Leadership
  • Working conditions and wages commensurate to skills and experience will be offered.

    Shift work and a weekend roster may be a requirement of this role.
