- Thorough understanding and application of Work Health and Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety Regulations 2022, and Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995.
- Expertise and experience in a wide range of equipment from itinerant plant (mobile cranes, elevated work platforms, compressors) to fixed plant lifting equipment (monorails, bridge/gantry cranes, davit/jib cranes, workboxes, 4-post hoists, vehicle loading cranes, and gravity take-up winches). Pressure equipment includes accumulators, air receivers, air cannons, air oil separators, heat exchangers, and pressure relief valves.
- Maintenance of Plant Registers.
- Establish maintenance regimes for all registerable items in compliance with legislation, standards, and internal procedures.
- Compilation and rectification of non-compliances.
- Registration of new assets and maintenance of plant records.
- Inspection of itinerant plant for site entry.
- Close collaboration with planning, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Related Engineering Degree or background working with Registerable Plant.
- Competency in SAP (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint (essential).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence people to achieve their targets.
- Conduct Field Interactions with work groups to promote safe work practices.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organisation.
- Self-driven, willing to be flexible, and demonstrate initiative without supervision.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
- Current Driver's License (C Class).
