    Client:

    Newcastle Based.

    Leading global provider of industrial engineering solutions to the FMCG, mining, and renewables sectors. The company delivers preventative and reactive service solutions as well as stocking parts for specialist machinery.

    Offering superior engineering and home-grown Australian craftsmanship, their products are built to last and offer outstanding performance.

    They have an immediate requirement for a Customer Service Officer with technical experience within their internal sales team. Experience would ideally come from hydraulics, automation or similar industrial machinery companies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with a team of Customer Service, Sales & Engineering professionals.
    • Provide technical proposals based on customer requirements.
    • Interpret hydraulic and pneumatic parts to fulfill customer orders.
    • Manage inbound telephone calls, and emails, professionally and in a friendly manner.
    • Maintain the CRM and assist with company process improvement.


    The right candidate will have:

    • An understanding of engineering processes and be technically minded.
    • Spare parts knowledge - hydraulics or similar is preferred.
    • Positive "can do" attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal.
    • Ability to solve a solution to a problem type of mindset.
