The Role:We are looking for a committed and values-driven School Careers Advisor to join our supportive team at our Western Sydney Islamic School

Assisting students through their career pathways and offering your knowledge; this is the ideal role for someone with relevant experience in guiding career pathways and for someone whose values are aligned with guiding others.

Key responsibilities include:

• Promoting diverse post-school pathways
• Communicating knowledge of current early entry schemes, special entry schemes, and awareness of the changing landscape of university admissions.
• Collaborating with various schools to support the development of career education support materials and resources.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

• Previous experience in career counseling and supporting students in making well-informed career decisions
• Knowledge of Careers education within a school context including HSC Curricula, ATAR, UAC, and domestic application processes
• Patience and the ability to listen
• Relevant qualifications and work experience
