    Our team

    The Data Analytics and Reporting Enablement (DARe) team is responsible for the development, support and production of data and tools for Financial Performance Reporting for the Group. We understand both the data available in the GDW and optimum technology solutions to extract, transform and transmit this as meaningful information. We act as the link between Enterprise Services and Finance/Business areas ensuring the solutions provided are fit for purpose and designed in a manner which provides flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs.

    As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with architects, developers and stakeholders to make sure solutions meet requirements, and are aligned to Group strategy:

    Overall, in this role, you will be required to perform the following:

    • Ensure technology solutions are aligned with the Groups enterprise architecture
    • Complete project/BAU work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
    • Provide support and participate in testing activities including system testing and user acceptance testing
    • Provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production
    • Prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes
    • Liaise and collaborate with external suppliers as required
    • Work within a team environment and instill the group values of trust and team spirit
    • Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
    • Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
    • Demonstrate TOFU (Take Ownership & Follow Up) principles endeavouring to improve the teams internal Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools

    What we are looking for

    • Strong communication Skills
    • Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst
    • Financial Services industry experience
    • Experience working on technology enabled projects/programs with a data focus
    • Strong technical skills (SQL, Database / Datawarehouse )
    • Aptitude to learn and grow in an agile environment
