    Job SummaryGriffith University is one of Australia's leading institutions in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The Arts, Education and Law Group is the largest Academic group at Griffith and the most diverse in terms of academic content, research achievement and character. The Group is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Associate Professor, Internationalisation.

    The successful candidate will assist the Dean (Academic) in the discharge of their responsibilities in Internationalisation for the first three years of the appointment.

    The work profile of this appointment would therefore be service weighted during this initial period.

    Thereafter, the appointee will either be renewed in the Internationalisation portfolio or revert to a substantive position in a relevant School within the Group.

    The Associate Professor, Internationalisation will contribute to the development and implementation of group-wide strategies and processes to support the achievement of strategic and operational targets in the area of internationalisation, including student recruitment, international curriculum and international academic and industry partnerships.

    As an Associate Professor the appointee will also contribute to the Group's rapidly growing research and teaching programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research student supervision.

    Appointments at level D will also provide leadership in teaching and research and assist in mentoring early career researchers and research students.
