  • About the Opportunity An opportunity exists for a strategic, motivated, and experienced individual to join the Finance and Governance Team as Governance Manager. Working with the General Manager Finance and Governance, the role is responsible for the leadership and management of a range of programs and services that contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Community Plan including:
  • Corporate Reporting and Plans
  • Legal Services Management
  • Procurement
  • Policy
  • Freedom of Information
  • Insurance Policy and Claims
  • Internal Audit
  • Grant Management
  • Corporate and Council Governance
  • About You You will ideally have appropriate tertiary qualifications in Law, Governance, Business Management, or other relevant discipline combined with at least three years' leadership experience. A proven ability to motivate, lead and strategically influence diverse and dynamic teams and contribute to an innovative and positive working environment that motivates and supports people to achieve high levels of performance is highly desirable.
