    About the role

    The Senior Manager, Clinical Governance and Practice Leadership manages, executes and contributes to key strategic projects involving the design, quality and implementation of clinical services delivered by CPA. The role ensures that services provided reflect the translation of research into practice through service design and capability of clinicians. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and monitoring of a range of initiatives that support the organisations Clinical Governance Framework. Leading a team, the role provides leadership and support to ensure high quality and safe provision of services.

    Duties include

  • Leads the Clinical Governance and Practice Leadership team to ensure the successful implementation of operational and strategic initiatives
  • Drive focus on a culture of continual improvement and quality
  • Develop and maintain effective external relationships with government and non-government agencies to raise awareness of sector wide issues and promote best practice
  • Leverage relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance practice and service outcomes
  • Accountable for the management of the product and innovation pipeline for client services
  • Represent the organisation at forums, networks and relevant regulatory bodies to secure support and engagement for the organisation and clients
  • Identify competency gaps within the clinical workforce and lead the development and implementation of strategies to meet current and future demand
  • Contribute to the Clinical Governance Framework at CPA, ensuring utilisation of current research, compliance with legal requirements
  • Ensure education programs are aligned to clinical governance framework, policy and procedures
  • Ensure CPA is focused on the design of products and services that can be enabled at a business level to achieve better outcomes for our clients
  • About you:

  • Proven experience in leading Clinical Governance and Practice Leadership team
  • Broad experience and understanding of Clinical governance and regulation, able to align best practice with client needs
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to positively collaborate with internal & external groups and clients
