    We are seeking an HSE Manager for our Warehouse and Transport Major Hazard Facility in Arndell Park. Reporting into the Sector lead, HSE - Chemicals, this role offers the opportunity to upskill your DG safety experience under the guise of your highly experienced manager to prepare for and submit the sites MHF Safety case. Responsible for operational safety and compliance alongside the Site Manager, were looking for an engaging and personable safety professional who can will coach and guide site teams, risk assess operations, investigate incidents and implement, monitor and report on compliance against the MHF safety case.     As the HSE Manager for this MHF site, you will be responsible for:


    1. Working with the management team and staff to ensure the site is compliant against the regulatory requirements.
    2. Assisting with the management, development, maintenance and submission of the Safety Case, Emergency Plans and the sites regulatory 'license to operate' certifications and other licenses/ permits.
    3. Providing HSE leadership, technical support and knowledge at site level in relation to Dangerous Goods regulatory and legislative requirements.
    4. Developing, coordinating, delivering and reporting on the sites safety programs that contribute to enabling the operations to meet compliance obligations for Major Hazard Facilities and Dangerous Goods.
    5. Provides technical expertise into the identification and management of all HSEQ and MHF risks related to the site's activities.
    6. Identifying and interpreting legal requirements and providing operational advice and guidance to manage risks and ensure compliance to relevant legislative requirements and Standards, including MHF, WHS, ADG/ IMDG.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    1. Experience in a packaged Dangerous Goods Environment Risk Assessment, incident investigation and Auditing experience.
    2. Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory requirements and Australian Standards pertaining to Dangerous Goods.
    3. Experience liaising with key regulators and other external stakeholders and in preparation of audits and report writing for auditing.
    4. Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety. Dangerous Goods and Auditing qualifications/ training are desirable not essential. Warehouse and Transport experience desirable not essential. Any Major Hazard Facility knowledge or hands on experience particularly with Safety Cases would be advantageous.
