    **12-Month Opportunity**

    This role is a 12-month parental leave replacement position, commencing February 2025. The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE plus monthly RDO), with a salary of $95,801 - $104,422 (Band 6) + 11.5% Superannuation.

    As an Executive Assistant to the Director Connected Communities and the broader team, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality community services. You will be responsible for providing essential support to the Director and team, overseeing diverse projects, and preparing information for Councillors and the community.

    The ideal candidate will have proven experience in administrative support at Executive level, a proactive approach to supporting the work of Directorate, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also possess problem-solving skills, flexibility to work under pressure, and awareness of operating in a politically sensitive environment.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing administrative support to the Director Connected Communities and the broader team
    • Overseeing diverse projects from concept to reality
    • Preparing information for Councillors and the community
    • Managing internal stakeholders, customer enquiries, and responding on behalf of the Director
