    Plant Quality and Laboratory Technician

    Our client is a global leader in Mineral Processing with over 170 assets worldwide. As part of their continued commitment to Quality and Sustainability, they are looking for a Plant Quality and Environment Coordinator at one of their largest sites located on Bathurst, NSW. This is a key site supplying a range of industries including coal mining and agriculture.

    Role responsibilities:

    • In charge of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the Plant's Quality and Environmental management systems, including product regulatory standards.
    • Ensuring all products meet specifications, satisfying customer requirements while optimizing raw material usage.
    • Assessing the effectiveness and costs of current production processes, devising improvement strategies, and facilitating necessary changes.
    • Supporting ANZ Area Quality Programs for Finished Products and Raw Materials.
    • Cultivating a safe working environment and fostering a positive, cohesive workplace culture in line with company values.
    • Contributing to ongoing enhancements of processes and systems to elevate both internal and external customer satisfaction.
    • Responsible for investigating all internal product non-conformances and customer complaints.
    • Prepare and manage all external sampling and testing requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Engineering degree within a related field.
    • Min. 3-5 years of experience in laboratory testing in similar industry.
    • Previous Quality Management experience advantageous.
    • Analytical and methodical skills in interpreting data.
    • Team player with good communication skills and a can do, solutions focused attitude.
    • Good organisation and planning skills.
    • Ready to travel occasionally within ANZ.
