- Cyber Security Architecture and Assurance team: Responsible for providing risk-based security assessments and architecture advice for new and existing systems.
- Cyber Security Governance and Outreach team: Responsible for various cyber security functions supporting AFP business activities, including planning, reporting, and accountability.
- Developing and advising on cyber security policy and governance requirements
- Conducting assessment activities like penetration testing and security incident response
- Monitoring AFP networks using enterprise tools

What is the role?
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) Command is a trusted partner that facilitates policing through problem-solving, technical expertise, and excellence. The CIO Command offers corporate applications, end-to-end ICT solutions, advice, cyber security, and infrastructure supporting AFP operations.

The CIO Command comprises four branches: Technology Strategy and Data, Enterprise and Policing Systems, Chief Technology Officer, and Cyber Security and Risk.

What will you do?
Successful candidates will gain knowledge of AFP operations to deliver effective cyber security services and solutions. Responsibilities may include:
As a member of the Cyber Security and Risk branch, you'll be expected to contribute to achieving outcomes within AFP guidelines and standards. The successful applicant must fulfill core responsibilities and position requirements.
Preferred skills or experience include industry-recognized cyber security certifications, IT qualifications, or a background in cybersecurity architecture.
