    Description

    We are looking for an RN – an Registered Nurse and the role is at Woolooware Shores Retirement Village. It is essentially a community role where nurses visit residents in their homes, as well as hold clinic hours at the health centre.

    Position: Registered Nurse

    • Working Hours: Flexible hours required evenings and weekends.

    • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and commit to assigned shifts during those times
    • Clinical skills including wound care, injections, medications management
    • Patient assessment and care planning
    • Clear verbal and written communication
    • Collaboration with care teams and families
    • Knowledge of clinical guidelines and protocols
    • Time management and documentation skills
    • Commitment to safety and compliance

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Must have Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
    • Proven experience as a registered nurse in a retirement village or large volume ward
    • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the (AHPRA)
    • Valid police check and working with vulnerable people check.
    • Managing constant volume of clinical notes and appropriate
    • Commitment to ongoing training and development
    • Strong track record in delivering empathetic, dignified care
    • Ability to build rapport with residents and families
