    The Opportunity

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team based at our manufacturing site in Scoresby VIC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will plan, schedule and monitor all maintenance activities at the Scoresby site and foster effective cross functional teamwork between Production and Maintenance.

    Responsibilities for this key role will include:

    • Passionate about their work and achieving results without compromising Work, Safety, Health and Environment (WSHE)
    • Leading the Maintenance team to ensure effective operation of the site to maximise efficiency and cost.
    • Effectively managing maintenance activities within allocated costs.
    • Manage all service contractors to comply with WSHE requirements
    • Planning and scheduling maintenance and shutdowns as required to achieve KPI targets
    • Develop an engineering and maintenance strategy including timeframes to deliver best practice maintenance systems
    • Co-ordinate the maintenance function to optimise the availability and productivity of plant and equipment (OEE improvements).
    • Establish and manage spare parts stock levels.
    • Work with key stakeholders to identify and implement operation improvement projects.
    • Participate in, and support, operation improvement projects in conjunction with key stakeholders
    • Implement the CSR Way Preventative Maintenance Program

    Skills & Qualifications

    To be considered for this role you will be known for your safety ethos and ability to lead by example. Ideally you will have.

    • Tertiary/formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years Maintenance/Engineering Management experience within a unionised industrial or manufacturing operations environment
    • Experience in successfully leading a Maintenance team & the ability to drive/improve a strong culture
    • Computer literacy (Word and Excel)
    • Sound understanding of computerised maintenance management systems (SAP preferred)
    • Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and knowledge of wide variety of equipment
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders at all levels
    • Resilience, with an ability to work with stakeholders to get the job done safely, and to the right standard
    • An eye for continuous improvement and motivation to create change to improve processes
