    BI Fullstack - Senior Power BI Analyst Programmer Xpert Consulting Pty Ltd (trading as Novon) is a large Sydney based IT Services business.

    We operate a number of Technology centric brands including Novon , our IT Services business focused on delivering Data Transformation Services for clients large and small.

    Novon keeps growing and our Data practice is searching for our next Senior Analyst Programmer working in a complex Microsoft BI environment to work on strategic initiatives which will work to realise our customer's vision.

    Our development team within our customer environment is responsible for developing the new way our customer managers provision, manages, and interacts with infrastructure technology.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large team of BI consultants where you can share your knowledge and learn and grow from working with the team of experts around you.

    The successful Analyst Programmer will be a passionate Power BI developer with an excellent level of proficiency in working with the full stack within a BI environment including some front-end development/data visualisations, Experience in providing input into, ETL, complex data modelling and confidence in designing dashboards are mandatory.

    As is exceptionally strong problem solving and the ability to innovate within a complex Power BI environment.

    This role has scope for you to grow and further develop your people management skills whilst still being very hands on and technical.

    Skills for success in this lead role will include a strong innovation mindset and joining an Agile team.

    Alongside your skills as an Analyst Programmer you will have a broad range of data warehousing skills that will lead to your success in this role will include: Experience where you have acted as the organisation expert on Power BI, DAX and Data modelling (ETL) Ability to write clean robust code.

    Implement, configure, and deploy production and preproduction environments and support these solutions and perform peer reviews.
    Confident in your ability to coach and mentor technical and business users.

    This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications.
    The Programmer/Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

    Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

    • Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
    • Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.
    • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
    • Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
    • Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill the requirements of all internal and external program users.
    • Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
    • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
    • Generate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
    • Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.
    • Train end-users to operate new or modified programs.
    • Install software products for end users as required
