VCE Network Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Officer to join our Brisbane-based operations team. This role is ideal for a structured professional who thrives in coordinating procurement, logistics, and inventory processes within a fast-paced technical environment.
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of equipment, materials, and services required to support network and infrastructure projects.
About the Role
The Supply Chain Officer will manage supplier relationships, coordinate purchasing activities, and monitor inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. You will collaborate closely with project managers, warehouse teams, and finance departments to maintain efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
This position offers strong exposure to procurement planning and logistics coordination within a growing technology-focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement of equipment, hardware, and operational materials
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate pricing where appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times
- Ensure accurate documentation of procurement and logistics activities
- Support cost control and budget monitoring initiatives
- Liaise with warehouse and project teams to align supply with project timelines
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce delays
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Experience with procurement systems and inventory management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
