    About the role:


    The purpose of this role is to assume primary responsibility within the Group Protective Security & Network Facilities Management team to oversight the safe, efficient, cost effective and quality improvements, maintenance & operation of network properties & facilities for a dedicated geographical area across the Citi Power and Powercor networks.

    The role is expected to engage both widely across the business with other stakeholders along with third party providers.

    This role can be based in Geelong or Brooklyn, however frequent travel across various locations in Victoria will be required.


    What you'll deliver:

    • Work collaboratively within Group Protective Security & Network Facilities Management team and with other stakeholders to identify, plan, budget and implement capital improvements to network properties and facilities.
    • Support the implementation and oversight of the Essential Safety Measures (ESM) program of work including administrative and operational activities where necessary.
    • Oversight compliance elements of properties and facilities related works falling within own responsibility ensuring all legislative, regulatory, contractual, standards set out by State, Federal or other authorities are adhered to.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders including landlords, councils, customers, others directly or indirectly if/when necessary to resolve issues regarding properties & facilities as they may occur and require.
    • Provide analysis and insight into trends in data including reactive maintenance issues, average cost per call, site, and asset type, etc.

    To succeed in the role you'll have:

    • Experience in third party provider management including participation in the scoping, tendering and on-boarding of external third party providers.
    • Experience in the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Lync) and capacity to input, analyse and present information/data.
    • Reasonable understanding of property management including risk management standards, principles and practices in a multi-site, multi-stakeholders (e.g.
    owned operated facilities v leased) environment.


    • Broad understanding of Victorian Energy/Electrical Distribution policy and strategy, including renewable energy.
    • Formal qualifications and/or experience in project management which would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • A reasonable understanding of network infrastructure, possibly electrical trade qualifications which would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • An understanding of protective security principles and practices in facilities management environment would be beneficial.
