    Our client, Childrens Health Queensland, are currently seeking multiple Senior Business Analysts for various ICT projects.

    This is an exciting opportunity to get involved at the commencement of some of CHQs most exciting projects and to ensure the initiatives are set up for the success over the next 24 months.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage business analysis activities within a large ICT program/projects.
    • Lead, develop and manage specialised work package initiatives from conception through to completion.
    • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the business analysis framework in accordance with Queensland Health standards.

Strategic Projects is a division within CHQHHS that delivers high-value ICT-related projects to both CHQHHS as well as Queensland Health in general.

    The program is currently delivering a range of exciting ICT application initiatives, with this role positioned to assist current in-flight application projects (within various stages of delivery); or supporting exciting new projects that are about to commence such as ICT Biomedical device replacement and or facilities maintenance electronic security replacement to continue to provide clinical support to CHQ.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage business analysis activities within a large ICT program/projects.
    • Lead, develop and manage specialised work package initiatives from conception through to completion.
    • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the business analysis framework in accordance with Queensland Health standards.
    • Provide strategic and operational advice regarding program/project direction for business analysis activities.
    • Lead and ensure Business Process Modelling activities comply with Queensland Health standards and notation.
    • Provide a support and mentoring role for other business analysts within the program/project(s).
    • Initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitates effective communications and fosters relationships across program/projects.

    How you will be assessed

    • Demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis activities on a large scale, complex IM/ICT program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry.
    • Demonstrated experience leading business process modelling activities for large scale complex organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
    • High level knowledge and application of, appropriate business analysis frameworks, and an ability to promote and provide advice on use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 2.0 (BABOK).
    • Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team, prioritise, and manage tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
