Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join the Perth team.The Site Manager role is a senior site role that coordinates site activities in accordance
with the construction program to ensure the project is delivered safely on time and within budget.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety.
Observe and demonstrate safe work practices and ensure others do the same.
Manage and coach staff effectively by conducting regular meetings with each direct report to ensure they are meeting their key deliverables.
Proactively address performance issues as they arise.Develop and expand the knowledge of the site supervisory team on your project, including taking a lead mentoring role for those participating in Cadetship Program.
Manage the site construction activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).
Thoroughly understand the relevant components within the tender process.Maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance.
Maintain and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
Notify the Project Manager of any issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations.
Maintain professional relationships with the client and their representatives, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants.
Monitor and mark up all programmes on a weekly basis.
Manage day-to-day site control of project.
Ensure that site setup is maintained in accordance with the code of practice in conjunction with relevant safety supervisor.
Ensure all standards of construction are monitored and maintained.
To be successful, you will need:5 + years' experience as a site manager.
Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Comprehensive understanding of the building codes and guidelines.
Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
Proven experience of effectively manage a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements and has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety.
Good communicator with the ability to deal with clients.
Previous exposure to Procore preferable but not mandatory
