- Expert knowledge appropriate to the level of this position, of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018, Building Code of Australia and common building construction methods.
- Provide a high level of assistance, and report, to the Residential Unit Leader in providing an efficient and effective building surveying service ensuring that building permits satisfy the Building Act, Regulations and Codes.
- Provide high level building surveying services, and manage the associated work flow for this position, in an expeditious and thorough manner, ensuring compliance with legislative and business requirements.
- Accurately check applications for residential/commercial building permits in accordance with the provisions of the Building Act 1993, the Building Regulations 2018 and other relevant legislation as required.
- An expert knowledge of relevant acts and regulations
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Building Industry
