- Working alongside the Director to support the coordination of the service.
- Creating a supportive, safe and engaging environment for children and young people.
- Leading educators in the implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate educational program.
- Contributing to the development of the service's policies.
- Co-ordinating centre or service operations including Occupational Health and Safety, program planning, and staff training.
- Supervising all employees within the service.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Regulations as well as My Time, Our Place and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- At least two years of demonstrated experience in working directly with children.
- A current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (ACT) / or willingness to obtain one (essential).
- A current First Aid Qualification (HTAID012) / or willingness to obtain one.
- Suitable rights to work in Australia.

- A permanent contract with flexible working hours available subject to meeting ratio requirements during core hours.
- The option of working between 30 and 38 hours per week.
- A permanent service location – no need for daily set up or pack down.
- A permanent office space located within the centre.

- Support a community by working for a P&C (Parents and Citizens) Association.
