    The HSE Business Partner plays a pivotal role in driving health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives across the company.

    They focus on providing strategic HSE support to business leaders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and implementing a proactive approach to workplace safety and sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic HSE Support: Provides expert advice and guidance to senior management and operational teams on HSE policies, processes, and best practices, aligned with company goals and industry regulations.
    • Risk Management & Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental laws.
    • Lead risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Safety Culture Development: Champions a strong safety culture by developing and executing programs that promote awareness, safe practices, and behaviour-based safety initiatives across all levels of the business.
    • Training & Development: Identifies HSE training needs, develops training programs, and delivers training sessions to ensure employees are equipped to work safely and in compliance with regulations.
    • Incident Management: Oversees the investigation of workplace incidents and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis is performed, corrective actions are implemented, and trends are monitored to prevent recurrence.
    • Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepares regular HSE performance reports for management, including key metrics on safety incidents, audits, and environmental impact.
    • Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Sustainability Initiatives: Promotes and supports sustainable practices, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Works closely with HR, Operations, Legal, and other departments to integrate HSE into daily operations, ensuring the alignment of safety practices with broader business objectives.
    • HSE Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Collaborates with senior leadership to define HSE strategy and goals.
    • Leads continuous improvement initiatives, setting measurable objectives and reviewing progress against targets.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Certifications: Additional certifications in Environmental Management (e.g., ISO 14001) are a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE management, with at least 2 years in a business partnering role within an operational environment.
    • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
    • Knowledge of risk management and incident investigation techniques.
    • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive change.
    • Ability to deliver HSE training and facilitate workshops.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HSE reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, HSE management software).
