- Develop teaching programs that support equitable and ongoing participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by engaging in collaborative relationships with Community representatives and parents/ carers.
- Working closely with Key Teachers, Aboriginal Student Success Teachers, school principals and leadership teams to ensure the perspectives, knowledges, and aspirations of Tasmanian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are embedded within the curriculum documents and school practices.
- Working closely with schools to create, implement and review their Annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Plan.
- Education degree with teaching experience.
- Ability to work in a focused and collaborative manner in a school environment to support the improvement of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
- Registered to teach in Tasmanian Schools or able to gain registration.

Catholic Education Tasmania is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges serving over 16,500 students, their families and over 2,400 employees across Tasmania. Catholic Education Tasmania are now seeking applications for the role of School Services Leader: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander.
As the School Services Leader: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander you will be responsible for providing specialist on-going instructional support and advice within schools and small regional clusters of schools.
