Operations Leading Hand Forklift Operator - Western Australia - Skillforce Recruitment

Our Valued Client is currently searching for a dedicated Leading Hand for a temporary to permanent role beginning shortly. This position is suitable for someone willing to work during midnight and early morning hours.

Main Responsibilities:

• Pre-determine the number and types of trailers expected for unloading.
• Inspect sealed trailers to ensure no tampering.
• Organize consignments for interstate freight.
• Supervise and assign tasks to the PM operations team.
• Ensure proper arrangement and categorization of outgoing freight.
• Manage the unloading and organization of incoming trailers and local trucks.
• Create SPAs for interstate trailers.
• Confirm the arrival schedule of relevant SPAs for incoming trailers.
• Act as the primary contact for requested operational duties.
• Guarantee compliance with OH&S regulations for all personnel and installations.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and AM Operations Supervisor.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

Prior involvement in the Transportation Sector. Familiarity with the Perth Metro Area. Previous background in a supervisory capacity. Valid Forklift Certification.
