    Description

    The Medical Director, Clinical Assessment, will play a critical role in the evaluation, assessment and decision making of innovative clinical and pre-clinical opportunities for our clients growing oncology portfolio. Partnering closely with other internal stakeholders, the individual will act as a core member of the due diligence and licensing team and will act as a driving force in the assessment of assets, in-licensing opportunities, and other business intelligence/development opportunities.

    Actively participate in the scientific, clinical, and commercial evaluation of oncology technologies within biotech start-ups, innovation hubs and pharma companies. Lead cross-functional asset assessment to support full due diligence processes Attend industry scientific, partnering and licensing event to represent the company's goals and values Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in pre-clinical and clinical oncology Develop and maintain access to early cutting-edge science in oncology Ensure all activities conform to our Oncology standards

    Background

    • MD required 10+ years in clinical development, specifically in the field of oncology 3+ year of expertise in oncology business development, including due diligence, asset assessment, etc.

    Ability to work with top-pharma as well as start-up biotech's across the globe with capacity to be credible and engaging with each audience and key potential stakeholder Expertise in understanding and communicating scientific aspects which translate into business opportunities Business acumen with ability to understand top-line business case KPIs Ability to expedite projects autonomously Fluent level of English both oral and written with the capacity to communicate our business opportunities with conviction and self-confidence Capability to be an excellent team player leading projects from planning, to execution, to completion Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
