About the Program:

AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems.

AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.

About the role:

The Senior Cyber Architect will provide a high level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the company with respect to security architecture, Dev Sec Ops and resilience engineering services.

This role will be responsible for coordinating with cyber, ICT architects and product leads to ensure the design, solution architectures and processes maintain authorisation.

You will manage regular cyber testing of systems to ensure continuous security monitoring and define secure solutions for a wide range of contemporary container orchestration architectures In addition, you will: Provide broad based experience in systems engineering lifecycle and apply experience to specific Cyber Security architectural design and development initiatives Review security architectures and technical solution designs Troubleshoot technical issues and provide general cyber subject matter expertise to the engineering team Support resolution of programmatic issues and conflicts Support ongoing planning and estimating, status monitoring, measurement, and reporting regimes for Cyber Security activities Provide technical guidance, mentoring, direction, and training as required to build overall ICT knowledge and capability Apply Cyber Security standards, directives, guidance, and policies to an architectural framework About you: Extensive understanding of security in cyber resilient systems, including the ability to design secure network architectures, secure application architectures, and secure cloud architectures Experience working with and implementing Dev Sec Ops/Application Security/Cloud Security An in-depth understanding of cloud-based security architectures and contemporary solutions Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex security concepts and strategies to stakeholders and technical teams How we reward and support you: At Lockheed Martin we value our team and the contribution they make every day.
