    State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (Organisation site ) Strategic Communication; Strategy Insights and Advisory; Brisbane City As our Manager Engagement and Experience, you leverage your stakeholder communication, communication strategy and experience design expertise to help shape and support the delivery of exceptional experiences for internal and external stakeholders.

    This multifaceted role involves developing communication and marketing strategies to communicate with stakeholders and the community, nurturing internal relationships across the department, and optimizing their overall experience.

    Reporting to the Director Digital and Engagement, Strategic Communication Branch, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication, fostering meaningful engagement, and supporting the evaluation and improvement of the communication experience for the department's diverse stakeholders.

    We focus on your strengths by assessing a combination of your competencies, knowledge-based skills, and behaviours.
    We're looking for someone who will take responsibility for:

    • Leading the co-ordination or development, and implementation of high-level communication, marketing, engagement and/or online strategies.
    • Leading the development and implementation of engagement activities and overarching evaluation frameworks, ensuring all work delivered by the branch is effectively evaluated.
    • Cultivating and sustaining strategic relationships and partnerships with crucial internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of communication and engagement endeavours with organizational goals and priorities
    • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of communication and engagement professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture
    • Conducting stakeholder analysis, implementing strategies to address feedback, trends and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the consideration of community research and stakeholder feedback into decision-making, policy and organizational strategies.
    • Fostering a culture of effective communication, utilizing actionable insights and embodying continuous improvement within the branch to support the government's objectives.
    Assisting in the development and review of business and operational plans that align with departmental outcomes.
