    We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at Curragh Mine near Blackwater. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and deliver key business strategies and planning activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive in collaborating and identifying areas for improvement, sharing insights and knowledge across operational teams to enable best practices. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure changes are effectively delivering Golding's business objectives.

    The successful candidate will have strong drive and energy and thrive on working in a challenging work environment. This is a residential role or FIFO role working a Monday to Friday roster. Meals and accommodation will be provided.

    Key Role Requirements:

    • Work with Project leaders to drive the development of a continuous improvement culture.
    • Develop and sustain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
    • Support cross departmental teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Coach, train and support site team members in the use and implementation of Golding Business Improvement processes and tools
    • Use data to develop insights and to assist leaders in the prioritisation and planning of improvement opportunities.
    • Work across the site to assist in the delivery of continuous improvement projects that may be Golding, Disicipline or Project generated.
    • Assist project team members to consistently report on, and present findings and recommendations of their project to key stakeholders.
    • Provide specialist improvement advice to site teams to identify and resolve specific issues that are critically impacting business outcomes
    • Govern on-site improvement efforts, reporting progress and sharing insights within relevant stakeholders including other Golding projects, the client and subcontractors where it is appropriate to do so.

    Key capability requirements:

    • Relevant qualifications in business, engineering, or related fields;
    • Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Specialist or similar role;
    • Additional training in Continuous Improvement Systems (eg Lean, Six Sigma);
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities;
    • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
