    Duties

    • Provide broad administrative support to the office of Skills and Workforce and contribute to high levels of client and stakeholder services, including intra-departmental co-ordination, ministerial administration, client liaison and diary management.
    • Work across the Skills Tasmania team to ensure the timely preparation of correspondence, briefings, speeches and other documents, including the co-ordination of Skills Tasmania's Question Time Briefs and Estimates Briefings.
    • Upkeep and quality assure of unit specific information including, spreadsheets and tracking of a range of documentation including grant management, Question Time Briefs, minutes, agendas, invoices and general correspondence.
    • Assist in tracking priority projects including budget tracking and processing invoices and expenses related to project activities. Regularly liaise with government agencies, industry body representatives and business enterprises on specific workforce development and training matters.
    • Co-ordinate meetings between external and internal stakeholders and working groups including setting agendas, minute taking and logistics management.
    • Undertake specific projects, including event management, workshop preparation and stakeholder engagement activities.
    • Contribute to ongoing improvements in business processes, information systems, data management, practices, procedures, organisation and equipment.
