About The Role:

We are one of Australia's fastest-growing Value-Added IT Distributors (VAD), specialising in RTLS (Real-Time Location System), Wi-Fi, Io T (Internet of Things) and Communications technologies.

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to join our team.

The role involves collaborating with management and our clients, understanding their system requirements and providing end-to-end solutions that enhance their operational effectiveness and efficiency.

We are in search of a candidate who is motivated and eager to contribute effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with our leadership to align technology with our company's long-term objectives and projects.
Stay informed about industry changes, ensuring we always have a strategic advantage.
Engage with users, business units, and stakeholders to identify their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions, workshops, and meetings to foster communication and ensure that all voices and concerns are heard.
Gather detailed and specific requirements from users and translate them into technical specifications.
Document all aspects of a proposed solution for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Design system architectures, integration plans, and data flow diagrams.
Create project timelines, resource plans, and risk assessments associated with the proposed solutions.
Assess our current systems, pinpointing areas for improvement, and provide clear steps to optimise them.
Draft and design user-friendly interfaces, workflows, and processes that address user requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the system architecture supports these designs.
Engage with third-party vendors, when necessary, to integrate external products or services.
Serve as the main point of technical contact for stakeholders, providing insights and expertise.
Conduct training sessions or workshops to educate users on new systems or update where required.
Continuously update knowledge on the latest technologies, tools, and practices in the industry.
Attend seminars, webinars, and workshops to stay abreast of new advancements and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Offer continued support for new systems, addressing user feedback, and making necessary adjustments.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Product Management, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Demonstrated 3+ years' experience in working as a Pre Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant, Business Systems Analyst or in a related role.

RTLS (Real-Time Location System) experience within the Healthcare/ Industry 4.0/ Manufacturing or other sectors is a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in system design tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and user experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
Familiarity with the latest technologies, tools, and platforms in the industry.
Occasional travel (across Asia Pacific) required to assist clients "on-site" with solution design, positioning, and consulting.
