- Other duties as required to support the Member/Senator and the effective operation of the Electorate Office.
- Highly motivated and able to work proactively, both independently and in a small team.
- Must have experience in booking corporate travel.
- High level oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office Skills
- A commencing salary between $69,046 - $73,098 will be negotiated depending on experience and relevant skills.
- An additional optional allowance of up to $21,508 may be considered in recognition of, and as compensation for, reasonable additional hours of work.
- An employer superannuation contribution of 15.4% will be payable.

The office of Senator Nita Green is seeking applications for an enthusiastic full-time ongoing Electorate Officer A - Executive Assistant/Diary Manager to help manage incoming correspondence and requests for the Senator. You will be part of a small, dynamic team based in our Electorate Office in Cairns, QLD.

The position is offered under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act 1984 and conditions are outlined in the Commonwealth Members of Parliament Staff Enterprise Agreement which include:
An initial probationary period of three months will apply and may be subject to extension.
