    About The Role
    We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Weekly and fortnightly payroll processing
    • Collecting data/time sheets, ensuring they have been approved
    • Interpreting awards, NES, and other relevant employment conditions
    • Calculating termination pays, pay adjustments, and leave accruals
    • Resolving payroll queries and ensuring payroll compliance
    • Administering payroll transactions in both manual and automated payroll accounting systems
    • Processing invoices to customers based upon payroll information

    About You
    To be successful in this role, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business at all levels. You will be career focused with the drive to take on further opportunities and challenges as they arise.

    You will also have:
    • At least 1 year's experience as a payroll officer
    • The ability to understand and interpret awards
    • An aptitude for working with bulk data
    • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • The ability to work efficiently either in a team environment or individually
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • High competence with Microsoft Office
