- 3-6 years post qualification experience.
- Experience or an interest working in the energy sector, particularly electricity and gas markets, either in-house or in private practice is highly desirable.
- A strong academic record with a willingness to learn.
- Thrives in detail orientated work.

We are seeking a remarkable Lawyer to join our Melbourne Energy & Resources Team. Working with our impressive Partner Susan Taylor, you will play a key part in the renewable energy transformation.
You will have a strong passion for the energy sector with the enthusiasm and commitment to develop the key skills and expertise needed to provide regulatory legal advice and associated commercial contract work to a variety of our market recognised clients at the forefront of the energy transition. You will also have an active interest in the energy sector, specifically in commercial and regulatory work.
You will have exposure to a mix of clients (including ASX and international listed public companies, domestic and international private companies), government entities, investment banks and corporate advisory firms. You will play a key role on aspects of corporate governance, creating policy, drafting and negotiation, and providing advice to Boards and C-suite management. The successful candidate will also be comfortable mentoring junior lawyers and project managing matters from initial stages through to completion.
