- Assist the safety team in the preparation of safety documentation that identifies and controls site risks;
- Assist our operational teams with site safety support and undertake safety tasks to achieve health and safety targets, manage critical risks and improve safety awareness;
- Assist the team to ensure our projects consistently operate in accordance with the legislative requirements, organisational goals, the Health and Safety Management Plan and respective Site Safety Plans;
- Participate in compliance and monitoring related activities, including audits, inspections, observations, site walks, sub-contractor and plant inductions;
- Proactively engage in the amendment of site documentation in response to organisational changes, identified improvements, periodic review and legislative changes.
- A recently completed Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- A high degree of enthusiasm and drive, with a strong desire to deliver positive outcomes as part of team;
- A practical mindset, with a hands-on approach to getting things done.
